Scalp Micropigmentation is a semi-permanent treatment that will last years with proper care. Over the years, as your skin naturally sheds it’s layers and absorbs the pigment, the treatment will fade and require touch ups. Everyone’s scalp and composition is different and factors such as sun exposure and individual skin type (very dry or oily) play a part in affecting how fast your SMP can fade.
On average, most people who complete the treatment will require touch ups every 2-5 years to freshen up the colour. To prolong the longevity of your treatment we also offer a complementary 12 month touch us session if you complete your full treatment through us. This gives you a peace of mind and a guarantee that covers any fading colour and changes to a hairline within your first year of treatment.
