Is SMP Painfull?
SMP is known to be quite tolerable, especially when compared to traditional tattoo techniques. While you may experience some discomfort and redness, particularly around the temples and hairline where the scalp skin is thinner.
During your SMP treatment sessions, most clients initially feel mild discomfort. However, they quickly adapt to the sensation of the tiny needles within the first 20 minutes. It’s worth mentioning that everyone’s scalp thickness and pain threshold are different, and in rare cases, a numbing cream can be applied to sensitive areas. Rest assured that any redness and initial discomfort will typically subside within a few hours.
